More challenges for the Faith factor game.  In the sleeping bags were Taylor and Hannah and they were trying to see who could put a whole other outfit on over their pajamas fastest.

Bishop Hughes came to hang out with us for a little bit and we even got him to do a craft, which he was doing amazingly with until he got preoccupied with the whole whip cream eating contest and then he mistakenly added white paint instead of the gloss that goes on white and dries clear.  It's okay bishop we still think you are amazing.

No more whip cream ever

The girls did Faith factor and the two teams that did not get the original question had to compete in a challenge, this one was which team could eat a pan full of whip cream the fastest.  Allyson won, but I don't think either one of them are ready to have whip cream any time soon.

Wakeboarding

We went wakeboarding for a combined Young Womens Activity! The girls had a lot of fun and some got up on the board!

Ride That Pony

At Girls Camp Ari, Emily and Hanna were in charge of having the girls play a game during rotation. So they had all the girls play ride that pony. Which was alot of fun. You dance in the middle and then at the end of the song go up to a girl and dance with her and then she goes in the middle and so on. Here are ALOT of fun picture from that!

Girls Camp

I'm sure this is the beginning of many posts. But the girls got to go to Girls Camp this last week and from what I've heard they had a great time! Sister McDowell, Skinner and myself went up for one day to see the girls and saw what they've been up too. But Sister Gunnell, Nay, Deniston and Young will have to post to give more info of how much fun the girls had.

Mutual

For mutual the Mia Maids went to Yogurt Biz which is the BEST yogurt place around here!! We were going out to say goodbye to Lauren but she ended up leaving the day early so we still went. There are a bunch of different flavors of frozen yogurt and then a bunch of different toppings from unhealthy to healthy! All of our creations below. It was a fun activity!

Baptisms at the San Diego Temple

May 30, 2009 the young men and young women went to the San Diego Temple for Baptisms for the Dead.  It was an amazing experience looking into their eyes as they served in the Lord's temple and became an instrument unto those who have died.  It felt as though the entire room was filled with those individuals waiting for that necessary ordinance. 

Cinnamon Rolls

Well the girls did a fundraiser that our Girls Camp Directors put together! They made Cinnamon rolls and had so much fun doing them!! The fundraiser was a GREAT idea!!! Maddie is our AMAZING baker and all the girls did a GREAT job making them!

Happy Birthday Megan!!

We have a new Mia Maid and we are so EXCITED!!! Megan just turned 14, so for mutual we gave her a Nightmare Before Christmas Themed birthday party. Thanks to Sister Skinner for all the decorations it looked great. We played little kid birthday games but then put our own spin on them and had a blast. We had good food and really good cupcakes thanks Emily H for bringing them!!!

Lauren and Hanna

Katie Gunnell and I had the chance to go watch Lauren play Basketball and she did such a good job! It was a GREAT game and they ended up beating the other team by three points! Lauren is the captain of her Basketball team and is such a good player she is # 5!

Hanna is the goalie for her water polo team. And has been doing a great job! She had about 15 saves in the games I was able to go to! The game was also a great game for Hanna and her team did a great job!

For mutual we had a Girls vs. Boys competition. They had to learn how to tie a tie, make french toast, pump up a tire, change a babies diapers, bake, shoot a basketball and a couple of other stuff! Of coarse the girls did the BEST!!!!
